WATCH: LIKE A BOSS: Cop Has Perfect Reaction When Moonbat Politician Goes BERSERK During Traffic Stop

Some of you may have heard about an Ulster County Legislator who had a completely insane break with sanity during a traffic stop for speeding, and many have long awaited the release of the video to see just how bad it really was. Well, the video has been released and many are weighing in on the actions of Jennifer Schwartz.

The video was released Tuesday, October 24, by Ulster Town Board after several FOI requests, according to HudsonValleyOne.

Ulster Police Officer Gary Short pulled Berky over for the excessive speed of 43 mph in a 30 mph zone back in May. The Officer is courteous and professional throughout the entire traffic stop which is proven in the video.

Officer Short approaches Berky’s Prius, and she asked Officer Short why she was stopped. The Officer informs her it was for speeding 43 in a 30 mph zone. Berky apologizes numerous times and begs the Officer to not give her a ticket because she claims she can not afford it while she also immediately brings up the fact that she works for the county and is a county legislator as if that really makes a difference. She then goes on to tell Officer Short that she was doing the same speed as everyone else.

Berky can be seen having what looks like a type of panic attack, but she calms down afterward. Officer Short even offers to get her medical assistance which she declines.
Berky can be heard stating that she is going to claim the Officer targeted her. She  continued to argue and question Officer Short throughout the entire stop going as far as to tell him once that she didn’t trust him and didn’t feel safe with him. Another officer happened to have arrived to assist by this point.

Officer Short initially wrote Berky a ticket for failure to wear a seat belt which would end up in a lesser fine, but she demanded that he to write her a ticket for what he originally stopped her for. The Officer complies and gives her the ticket for speeding. At that point Berky suddenly changes her mind and says she wants the initial ticket back.

Officers have discretion when issuing tickets and will often write the ticket for a lesser offense to help a defendant for many different reasons, but Berky just had to make the situation worse.

Berky informs Officer Short that she was recording him, and he advises her that the stop was being recorded both on dash-cam and body-cam video as well.

This entire video seems to show a woman who is extremely unstable on many levels.

According to The Daily Freeman :

Ulster County Legislator Jennifer Schwartz Berky on Friday took responsibility for her behavior during a police traffic stop that was captured on video and apologized to the officer who pulled her over.

Berky, D-Kingston, said in a written statement that seeing the dash cam video — in which she is shown venting at the officer, begging not to be ticketed, citing her position as a county lawmaker, and naming elected officials she says she’s contacting — was a humbling experience.

“I hope to use it to grow and learn how to better represent the diverse working families who reside in the great city of Kingston,” she wrote.

The video was released by the town of Ulster on Tuesday in response to a request filed under the Freedom of Information Law. Berky’s attorney asked the town to withhold the video saying its release could prejudice the traffic court case against her and voters in the Nov. 7 election.

“The video released earlier this week of my town of Ulster traffic stop captured a tough moment for me,” Berky added. “Like so many working families, I too face tough times and stressful situations. As a professional, a public servant and a mother, I know my interaction with Police Officer Gary Short was unacceptable. I want to apologize to Officer Short and thank him for his patience and professionalism with me during a very difficult time.”

She said she will continue to campaign for re-election.

“It’s not about me,” she said. “It’s about my constituents. I was asked to run and am going to continue running.”

It is truly amazing to watch this woman who is supposed to be in a position as a leader of a community to completely fall apart over a simple speeding ticket. She uses everything from her position to supposed PTSD, as well as claiming to feel threatened by the Officer.

Officer Short has an amazing ability to remain calm and level headed in the face of such insanity. Constituents should really consider her actions when thinking about possibly voting for her again.
