Those who sit in seats of power or aspire to one day sit in seats of power all seem to be nothing more than wind-bags who have perfected the lying process to achieve their goals. Promise after promise is made and broken, improvements to our country are placed on he back burner for personal agendas, and backdoor dealings are paramount to being a politician in today’s America. The saddest reality is that many on both sides of the political aisle think exactly the same way no matter what they are actually telling us publicly.
The year 2017 alone will go down as a year of mass exposure of political leaders being connected to many different kinds of sexual activities that should never be condoned. Along with that type of exposure comes the connected exposure of how so many get away with it. One woman has basically put her life and career on the line to inform us how much of OUR tax money has been spent over the years to hide and cover up these deviant sexual crimes and escapades.
Rep Jackie Speier recently revealed that the House has spent well over $15 million just in the last decade to cover sex-related lawsuits. That is a lot of money that should have been used as taxes are meant to be used and not to cover for some of our more perverted politicians and their fetishes.
According to MPolitical :
Americans distrust politicians more now than any other time in history and it not difficult to understand why. The daily antics of “Republicans” such as Paul Ryan and John McCain are enough to make any sane individual want to punch through a wall, and wonder if our country will ever get back on track. But if you weren’t thoroughly disgusted with our elected officials quite yet, just wait. Now a breaking scandal today is making its rounds, after it’s being reported what numerous members of Congress did with YOUR tax dollars, as a way to bury their disgusting and deviant sexual secrets from the public.
A brave congresswoman has blown the whistle on how tens of millions of dollars in taxpayer funds has gone towards silencing victims of rape by high-level government officials.
Rep. Jackie Speier told MSNBC that the U.S. House of Representatives alone has spent at least $15 million to settle sexual misconduct lawsuits in the last decade.
“We really need to reform the entire Office of Compliance process,” Speier said. “Right now it takes about 90 days for you to file a complaint, and before actually going through the mediation, you have to sign a non-disclosure agreement and then you are not represented by counsel, but the harasser is represented by the House of Representatives general counsel.”
In many cases, as was seen with Harvey Weinstein, when ultra-rich and powerful individuals are accused of sexual assault, they respond by paying large sums of money to their victims, in exchange for an iron-clad, non-disclosure agreement.
However, while Hollywood moguls use their own money, Rep. Speier noted that politicians extort money from Americans in the form of taxes, and then use it to silence the victims they have sexually assaulted and harassed.
“I think moving forward we have got to take steps to make sure that there is transparency, that in fact the harasser is not going to have the settlement paid for out of the U.S. Treasury, and have all of the taxpayers paying for it. It should be something that is paid for by the individual,” Speier said.
In response, Todd said, “If the taxpayers are involved, don’t we have the right to know?”
“I think you do have the right to know,” Speier replied. “But right now, under the system, you don’t have a right to know.”
The congresswoman, who is a member of the House Intel Committee, then added that the sum of those taxpayer-funded settlements is not small, and has been building up over the last decade.
“We do know there is about $15 million that has been paid out by the House on behalf of harassers in the last ten to 15 years,” she said.
When Todd pressed for details, Rep. Speier said that she could not reveal how many members of Congress were involved, or who they were, because of the heavy non-disclosure agreements surrounding the cases.
One glaring example of a member of Congress who was both a rampant sexual predator and a pedophile, was former House Speaker Dennis Hastert. Although he is an admitted child rapist, Hastert was instead sentenced to prison for illegally structuring bank transactions in an effort to cover up his sexual abuse of young members of a wrestling team he coached. He was set free after just 15 months, and has since demanded that one of his victims return $1.7 million in hush money.
As The Free Thought Project reported, Speier is not the only one who has called out the corruption that runs rampant among the political elite. When women began to come out of the woodworks with sexual assault allegations against Weinstein in October, former Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney said, “We’re outraged and angry—not having had justice for at least a generation. Hollywood now; Washington, DC next.”
We’ve seen what happens to people who call out corruption in Washington D.C. They usually end up “suicided” by the likes of crooked politicians like Hillary Clinton. It will be interesting to see what members of Congress were involved, but it might be a while until we learn the names since as currently non disclosure agreements surrounding most of these cases. I’m willing to bet many of these people were probably regulars at Bill and Hillary’s little Pedo Island.
Let’s hope the political clean-up crew doesn’t try to take this woman out. We see that happen all too often to those who try to give the American people some truth. There has to be a way to stop this constant misuse of our taxes as well as end the careers of these sexual deviants. Currently, these two things are some of our biggest issues, and they are bankrupting the American people to justify their cravings.
Is it really any wonder that most average Americans can barely survive on the average annual income? We are taxed to death and then taxed for dying! Enough is enough! Taxation without representation is a crime against the people as it is. Iit becomes even more criminal when it is used to cover personal legal issues that a politician has gotten themselves into. The only way to stop it is to end the IRS entirely as it is nothing more than a money laundering and pirate scheme, then arrest and charge each and every politician who has ever abused their seat in any way, shape, or form!
There are plenty of amazing Americans who would willingly run for office on an honest platform.
